Intimatacy + elegance = Perfect Day xx

A perfect day, perfect couple, 4 guests, makes for a very private and elegant wedding. Leanne and Micheal were married at Canoe point on July 20th 2011 with 4 of their closest friends watching in a simple yet intimate ceremony with celebrant Liana Wynne on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Gladstone region, followed by champagne and cake.
I met Leanne through my local gym, such an inspiration to me and such an amazing woman that I was honoured when asked to photograph her wedding. Thankyou both Leanne and Micheal for selecting me as your wedding photographer. I hope you enjoy your images as much as Brian and I both enjoyed taking them. I will be in touch soon with your full gallery.

Kath xx

One of my favourite images for the day. :)

May your marriage be full of love and happiness for many more years to come xx

Another stunning bride and her handsome man say their "I do's"...

Last Saturday 25th June 2011, I had the absoloute pleasure of photographing this gorgeous couples wedding. Introducing Mr and Mrs Michael Rayner. The stunning bride, Katie-Ann had every details of her perfect day planned to the T. The whole day ran so super smoothly.

Katie-Ann was one of those brides that was so radiantly happy that it shone throught the entire day from the moment I saw her on her way to the hair dresser right until I left the reception well over 12 hours later. Such a radiantly happy bride and her ever doting hubby makes for the most amazing photos. So sure enough on the day my job was made so super easy with so many stunning photos to take, but once home and processing it becomes a little harder to pick just a few to show as a sneak peek.
The groom ready and waiting to meet his bride.

Now there is a little story about these gorgeous shoes below..... Katie-Ann wanted a little suprise for Michael when he finally got to the garter, so underneath her gorgeous dress were these babies, unfortunatly Michael ended up seeing them before the garter toss time but his suprised and thrilled face was well worth it. :)

Little Edward - such a little cutie - the Paige boy.
Katie-Ann with lil Miss River-Lee.

This has to be one of my favourite pictures from the day. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this.
...............and this :)

Katie-Ann, Michael, Kim and Richard.

Such a perfect little family Katie-Ann, River-Lee, Edward and Michael.
So in love. xx
Thank you Michael and Katie-Ann for sharing your special day with me. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and love these as much as I do. I will be in touch soon with your full gallery details.

James and Marjolein Perrie's Wedding Vow Re-affirmation

James and Marjolein were married in Holland a few months ago and seeing as the Australian family and friends could all travel to Holland for their BIG day, James and Marjolein had an Australian wedding right here at the Cedar Galleries. Such a warm summery day in a picture perfect bush chapel was very fitting for this day. I hope James and Marjolein (and the rest of the family) enjoy these images as much as I loved taking them. I will be in touch soon with a full gallery for you. To James and Marjolein may your marriage be full of love and happiness and you continue to grow together for many more years to come.

Introducing Mr and Mrs Craig and Melissa Hurdis

This is the type of wedding I love to shoot. the bride has allocated ample time to take photos of her with family and friends. This day in particular was a perfect day, rain included. They say if it rains on your wedding day you will have good luck in your marriage, well these two will have the best marriage you could ask for. Not only did it rain, it poured for the entire 25 min drive from the brides grandparents house to Maroota (the wedding location). But it stopped long enough to for Melissa to get out of the car and marry the man of her dreams and steal a few bridal party shots too :) Check these guys out you can feel the love and emotion between them.

The brides flowers - just gorgeous

Melissa awaits her "chariot"

I just love the emotion in this image, there is a real special bond between this grandfather and his grand-daughter, it shows how close a family is when Pop cries seeing his grand-daughter in her wedding dress.

All of the wedding guests.
Stunning Location, even more stunning bride and handsome groom.

A quick bridal party shot as it started to rain... then pour...

Again another image packed with love and emotion. I just love how this couple interacts.

Thanks Melissa and Craig for an amazing day with you, I am honoured that you chose me as your photographer for you special day. I hope you LOVE these pictures as much as I loved taking them. I will be in touch with you soon with your full gallery details. May your married life be full of love and happiness. xxx
